FINGERPRINT APPOINTMENT ONLY CALENDAR (Not for Permit Pickup) - Fingerprinting is for NORWALK RESIDENTS ONLY or for Non-Residents as an employment requirement with a Norwalk Business. As a Non-Resident, you must have a letter from the company stating your need for fingerprinting. You will need to Pre-Enroll with the State of CT prior to your appointment and get an Applicant Transaction Number. You cannot be fingerprinted without this number unless you have an Out of State application. See the Norwalk Police website FAQs - How Do I Get My Fingerprints Taken for complete instructions. All Pistol Permit Applications must be completed and notarized prior to the fingerprint appointment. Come to the lobby of Norwalk Police Headquarters at 1 Monroe Street.

   Norwalk Police Records Unit
DO NOT use this calendar to book Fingerprinting appointments. This is for Records Unit business only. The Records Unit in charges of Copies required for court, insurance, or other purposes are obtained through this division. The Records Unit is also responsible for the collection of fees and processing of various permits requested by citizens and various nonprofit organizations. The Records Unit window is in the front lobby of Norwalk Police headquarters at 1 Monroe Street. Visit by appointment only. Click on Learn more for more details.
